Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about working with Cloreen — from what's included to how Arizona's climate affects your pool.

Getting started

What's included in weekly pool service?

Every visit we skim the surface, brush the walls and tile line, vacuum as needed, empty the skimmer and pump baskets, test and balance your water chemistry, and inspect your equipment. You get a quick summary after each visit so you always know what was done.

How often should an Arizona pool be cleaned?

For most East Valley pools, weekly service is the sweet spot. Our extreme heat burns off chlorine fast and monsoon dust loads the water with debris — weekly visits keep the chemistry stable and prevent the green-pool surprises that come with skipped weeks.

Do you service both pools and spas?

Yes. We offer weekly pool service and dedicated spa & hot tub care — whether your spa is attached to your pool or a standalone hot tub. Many customers bundle both on the same visit.

Service & scheduling

Do I need to be home during service?

No. As long as we have gate access, most customers are at work or out running errands during their visit. We'll leave a summary and let you know if anything needs your attention.

Will I have the same technician each week?

Yes — consistency is part of the Cloreen difference. You get a dedicated, background-checked technician who learns your pool and equipment, so nothing slips through the cracks.

What areas do you serve?

We serve the East Valley, including Chandler, East Mesa, Gilbert, Queen Creek, and Apache Junction. Not sure if you're in range? Just ask — we're happy to confirm.

Are there long-term contracts?

No long-term contracts. Our service is month-to-month — we'd rather earn your business every week with clear water and dependable visits.

Pool problems

Why does my pool turn green so quickly in summer?

Arizona heat and sunlight destroy chlorine rapidly, and a single hot week without proper sanitizer lets algae bloom. Consistent weekly chemistry is the fix — and if your pool is already green, we can get it back to clear.

What causes the white, crusty scale on my tile?

That's calcium scale from Arizona's hard water, made worse by our high evaporation rates. Regular brushing and balanced water slow it down; we keep an eye on it as part of weekly service and can recommend treatment when it builds up.

My water level drops fast — do I have a leak?

Not necessarily. Arizona pools can lose a notable amount of water to evaporation in summer, especially with water features running. We'll help you tell normal evaporation from a true leak and point you in the right direction if it's the latter.

Trust & pricing

How much does pool service cost?

Pricing depends on your pool's size, features, and condition, so we give you an honest, no-pressure quote up front. Call or request a free quote and we'll get you a clear number — no surprises on your bill.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Cloreen Pool & Spa LLC is a licensed and fully insured Arizona pool company. You can have peace of mind having us around your home and family.

Can you take over from my current pool guy?

Absolutely — it happens all the time. We'll assess your pool's current condition on the first visit, get the chemistry right, and pick up a reliable weekly rhythm from there.

What if I'm not happy with a visit?

We back our work with a crystal-clear guarantee. If something isn't right, we'll come back and fix it at no charge. Your satisfaction is the whole point.
